Sparks similarities to the famous Valderama
Golf Club
|
When you turn up at a golf course you can tell fairly
quickly if the course is any good. When you drive past the
magnificent palace to enter the course, there are beautiful
panoramic views of the countryside. This private members
course has a traditional stone built club house, overlooking
a dark lush green course that twinkles under the bright
deep blue skies. Twisted cork and fir trees line the fairways,
sparks similarities to famous Valderama Golf Club.
The course is undulating bordering on hilly in some places
which make for a difficult tight course. It’s not
a long course as you are in one of the highest spots in
Madrid
about 8,000 feet above sea level, which helps the ball to
fly further then normal. Although its one of the furthest
courses to drive to in Madrid
just under the hour, you will be very pleased you made the
effort.

Testimonials
"Everything about the
trip to Madrid
was very good. It’s a golf trip that is completely different
to anything that I have experienced on the Spanish costas.
Unlike the golf courses which are full of Brits,
and being pushed around by the course marshals, we were treated
like very special VIP guests. Ok, only a few people spoke
English, but we got by. Royal Sociedad golf course
was excellent with a lovely clubhouse, the South course was
in my opinion better than the North, but both courses were
very good. All in all, the trip was very enjoyable and I would
have no hesitation in recommending it to anybody else who
would like to try something very different to the normal golf
holiday."
